Luxury Home

Carrolton

After our client moved into their dream home, they soon realised that the amount of furniture they needed to properly fill their space greatly exceeded their original expectations! With the unexpected need to expand their original plans, we decided it would be best to work in stages.

Their first stage was to transform the grand living room. The living room was in the direct sightline of the front door, which meant the design needed to make a big impact, while also creating a warm and inviting space.

A traditional sofa was selected with two formal chairs along the window for intimate conversation, aligning their aesthetic with our vision. To create a lively space we incorporated patterns and rich deep colours. Our second stage was the dining room, where we built a custom dining table made from reclaimed timber that seats eight. From the outset, we worked with the client to ensure we would incorporate salvaged materials to minimise their carbon footprint, focusing on sustainability and green design.

Last was the primary bedroom, where we focused on pulling the colours from our client’s artwork to create a cohesive design. Incorporating the colours and patterns we worked with throughout the house helped to tie the entire project together, creating a bespoke and timeless design.
